Brief Bio

Joshua Prasad, MPH, is a Founder at a Public Health startup called FwdSlash focused on eliminating the barriers between housing and health. Previously, he worked at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in a number of roles, notably as the Director of Health Equity Innovation at the HHS InnovationX team, and the founding Director of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)’s Center for Innovation. He led health and human service government implementation and human-centered design research projects for Deloitte Consulting and ran small addiction center that he turned into an integrated behavioral health center. He also served in volunteer and non-profit capacities across public health, in global settings, and advocate for stronger community innovation, data and technology integration.
