A Covid-19 Communications Partnership
At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, in addition to contact tracing support, CPHI worked with the Philadelphia Department of Public Health (PDPH) to develop high quality communications materials.
The team also adapted existing public health communications to meet the needs of populations with varying levels of literacy and those who speak English as a second language.
The Communications Team was led by Biomedical Graduate Studies PhD and CPH staff/faculty, and was powered by student volunteers from the across the University.

About the project
The goal of the Public Health Communications Team was to design online and print material regarding COVID-19, such as guidance on infection control, masking etiquette, physical distancing, and mental health resources.
Each week, the volunteers would develop and submit content based on PDPH’s needs.
